Pig tales

My name is Emily and I love PIGS
I want one for a pet
I’d love my pig who digs digs digs
And take him to the vet

If he was sick with a tummy ache
I’d love him more than a big fat drake.
We’d play all day some piggy games
And he’d sneak inside if it ever rains

Under my bed where it’s warm and snug
I’d cover him up with a nice piggy rug.
All day long we’d play and run
Piggy and me in the nice warm sun

Under the trees and down to the creek
Piggy and I’d play hide-and-seek.
On Sundays I’d give Piggy a bath
In the laundry tub and we’d all laugh.

Mum would scream and yell and shout:
“Grab that Pig and both get out!”
Down to the creek we’d go real fast
Hoping Mum’s bad mood won’t last.

Later on we’d sneak back home
Creep into our room alone:
Under the bed we’d hide some sweets
Lovely snacks and Piggy eats.

Soon we’d start to feeling sleepy
Mum comes up the hallway, creepy:
“Emily, is that Pig out?”
“Sure is Mum, and I washed his snout!”

Good night, Mum, until the morning:
(Cuddling my pig until the dawning).
